"Joking aside, Gitmo it isn't "

Of course the temporary detention facility built to house DNC protesters is nothing like the real Gitmo facility in Cuba.

The Rocky declares

While the right of free speech should be protected, any protesters who decide to indulge in vandalism, block traffic or do other harm to the community should be removed from the streets.

We must keep in mind, however, that just because one has been arrested does not mean that one is guilty.

  1. Unfortunately, the entire concept of "innocent until proven guilty" has been thrown curbside in the interest of a "preemptive" approach to making sure no protesters are seen misbehaving at the DNC. Under rug swept.
