The Post says Governor Bill Ritter's plan "
to write new rules protecting 4.4 million acres of roadless areas in Colorado" should be accepted.
Of course, we don't know how that plan will turn out, but the Post is confident Ritter's plan will be better than any potential alternative plan, especially if the federal courts get involved.
The Post acknowledges something most Greens do not: "Roadless areas are not wilderness — they're just remote areas that contain at least 5,000 acres without roads"
Hmmm, kinda like ANWR.
