The Post thinks the government can tweak the economy and solve its problems.
The only tweaking the government needs to do is getting its mitts out of the economy.
The Post favors a bill that would, among other things:
Invest $20 billion in the development of petroleum-free motor vehicles within 20 years.
No. No. No. The government does not need to "invest" in anything. The government is incapable of "investing." The government can only take money from one group and give it to another.
The free market provides all the incentive necessary to create alternative fuels. That incentive is called "profit."
