"Vote 'no' on car seizure plan "
The Post is against Initiative 100, which would allow Denver police to impound cars of drivers without a license on their person.
The Denver City Council voted 10-1 against it. They are concerned about the cost of impounding all of these cars.
BlueCarp is against it, too, but for a fundamentally different reason. Giving the government additional power is equivalent to giving the government additional power to abuse.
And abuse it they will.

A lot of the folks behind this one are trying to fly it under an anti-illegal immigrant flag.
ReplyDeleteAs IF that's what it would end up being used for. The government sells us an awful lot of hogwash, the only reason we keep buying it is because we fail to stop and look at what it is they REALLY want. Never take a politician at face value.
