There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.
Dear Minister of Propaganda,
As per your request, I'd like to report an American citizen to you for daring to exercise his First Amendment rights and speak out against Barack Obama's attempted political takeover of medicine.
I am reporting myself.
Not only do I believe that political interference in medicine is wrong and impractical, but I've told many other people about my views, and I intend to repeat this grave offense again today.
I fear I am an incorrigible practitioner of the First Amendment and an intransigent defender of individual rights. Please notify me when you have established your re-education camps, so that I may report in person.
Sincerely,
David K. Williams, Jr.

Thanks to Diana Hsieh for the original heads-up on this. Ari Armstrong and Ben DeGrow have also self-reported.

David:
I'm with you on this. I posted against Obama's proposed health care plan at my blog. I'm on the dissident list now. What I've discovered since then is much more shocking. What they are doing with the list. Turned over to US Army Intelligence, to monitor us and our blogs. I have StatCounter, and that is how I caught them. Another reliable source confirmed it.
This is who monitors you and your blog when you get flagged by the White House: United States Army Information Systems Command.

The implications are stunning.
I'm just following established facts. Other people may draw their own conclusions.

Remember Thursday August 6 when Facebook and Twitter went down, so did blogger for about an hour. I have no doubt who did it and why.
Further, keep in mind, Obama has ordered the US Military to back FEMA during the fall flu season and the H1N1 Virus threat, which of course ties in with health care. Just following the facts. People can draw their own conclusions. The best conspiracy is one that is not believed until it is too late.

Censorship and Freedom of Speech
The following is a paragraph excerpted from the 1986 Baen Book printing of Robert A. Heinlein’s novel titled “Revolt in 2100”—from page 83 of the story titled “If This Goes On—”:
“For the first time in my life I was reading things which had not been approved by the Prophet’s censors, and the impact on my mind was devastating. Sometimes I would glance over my shoulder to see who was watching me, frightened in spit of myself. I began to sense faintly that secrecy is the keystone of all tyranny. Not force, but secrecy . . . censorship. When any government, or any church for that matter, undertakes to say to its subjects, ‘This you may not read, this you must not see, this you are forbidden to know,’ the end result is tyranny and oppression, no matter how holy the motives. Mighty little force is needed to control a man whose mind has been hoodwinked; contrariwise, no amount of force can control a free man, a man whose mind is free. No, not the rack, not fission bombs, not anything – you can’t conquer a free man; the most you can do is kill him.”
